A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a collision in Purfleet.
Police were called to London Road, Purfleet at junction with Stonehouse Lane at just after 5.30pm on Tuesday evening.
A silver Land Rover Discovery was in collision with a white Suzuki motorbike.
A man in his forties from Kent was taken to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was re-opened at midnight.
