    Tilbury 1 v 1 AFC Sudbury

NO-ONE will be relishing a visit to Chadfields these days and so promotion chasing Sudbury may well be relieved to have escaped with a point on Saturday afternoon.

The Suffolk side opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a goal by Terry Rymer. Tilbury equalised with a goal by Tom Wood in the 41st minute.

The Dockers will see it as two points dropped. They are now in twelfth place in the league with eleven game to play. They are sixteen points off the play off places so promotion looks highly unlikely.

What they can be satisfied about is that the teams above them, who still have Tilbury to play, will not be relishing the challenge. Funnily enough, next up is Needham Marker, who, if they beat Tilbury on Tuesday night at Chadfields, go to the top of the league. That, these days is a big ask.
