LIBRARIES in Thurrock are going Shakespearian later this month.
Between next Monday (16 March) and the following Sunday (22 March) the borough’s libraries are celebrating Shakespeare Week – an annual opportunity for all primary aged children to be introduced to Shakespeare’s life and works.
The libraries will have activities sheets available, such as crosswords, a chance for poem- or story-writing or even to design their own stage in a theatre.
There is of course the chance to borrow the plays of Shakespeare – many now available in a child friendly format.
