STUDENTS and staff at South Essex College donned onesies and red noses to support Comic Relief.
The lecture pod at the College’s Southend Campus also doubled up as a giant red nose to help students and staff mark the event.
Members of the Student Union were also out in force collecting money.
Georgina Scates, 17, a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education & Care student from Basildon, said it was great to get involved.
She said: “It’s important to help people who are not as privileged as you and it has been really fun coming to college in our onesies. It has proved to be a real head turner, especially when we ventured into town for lunch!”
Angelina Clarke, the Student Union’s Equality & Welfare Officer was delighted to see so many people show their support.
She said: “Once again our students and staff didn’t disappoint and were eager to show their support for a worthy cause.”
