STANFORD West councillor, Shane Hebb has thanked the Stanford residents who placed their faith in him and returned him as a councillor last week.
Cllr Hebb said:
"As a neighbour to many of those who live in Stanford-le-Hope, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who had faith in me to continue defending our needs, and fighting for a better town where we live, work and play. I was successfully re-elected on polling day, and for a second time, I have been given the great honour of being your ward councillor.
For every day for the last four years I constantly reflected on how lucky I have been to be SS17’s elected representative, and have worked hard to meet your expectations. I have never taken the role for granted, and I never will.
I am honestly as excited now, as I was when I was elected four years ago. We achieved a lot in the last four years and there is more to do, and more to finish.
Thank you so much once again, and I look forward to serving you all for four more years.
