NEARLY 200 runners started the May edition of the Crown to Crown last Wednesday and that number included several Harriers.
A startling result was Adam Dowman’s third place with a time of 18:33. Adam’s training in recent months has been restricted by the demands of
work and a young family but this effort was as good as any he had previously
produced.
John Russell ran a steady race to finish 21st in 20:56.
An eye catching performance came from Dylan Harrod, just short of his 11th birthday,
who finished 41st in 23:08.

Also last week Don Lawless finished 2nd in the SVAC 5 mile Road Championships in Battersea Park. A Herne Hill Harrier sneaked past him in the last mile to snatch the title. Don’s time was 30 minutes.
