CHILDREN at Woodside Academy, held an International Day on Friday.
Across the day parents and staff experienced food tasting from across the globe and classes based their learning around celebrating cultures from all over the world and specifically those represented within our community.
One highlight of the day was a Chinese writing demonstration by their Chinese language assistant, Cao Rong, who has been teaching Mandarin to children across the school this year.
Children staff and parents enjoyed the day which gave them a chance to explore information about other countries and broaden their understanding in a cross curricular way, fun and engaging way.
