THE THURROCK Council planning committee has asked for more time to consider a planning application for a lorry park in West Thurrock.
Many of the councillors agreed that the lorry park could be a berth for the dozens of lorries that are at present seen parked in lay-bys around the borough.
But the application left a larger number of questions, that the felt could be solved by a visit to the Oliver Road site.
Vice-Chair of the Planning Committee, cllr Tom Kelly queried the number of jobs that the park, owned by Industrial Chemicals Group would bring.
