THERE IS a warning that the new safety system at Dartford Crossing could cause delays as it beds in.
There were significant delays on Monday night as traffic tailed back from the booths on the Kent side all the way back to Junction 4 and the turn off for Orpington.
Traffic had begun to tail back on Tuesday morning as well.

M25 Kent – Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before the Dartford Tunnel. Congestion to J2, A2 (Darenth Interchange).
M25 Essex – Queuing traffic on M25 clockwise at the QE2 Bridge. Congestion to J30, A13 (Lakeside).
