WHEELED bin collection times are changed following Met Office predictions of high summer temperatures. The collections will begin from 6am rather than the usual 7 am from June 30 and will continue until August 31.
Cllr Gerard Rice, portfolio holder for environment said:
“We have responsibilities towards our employees and their working conditions and this small change will make sure our crews are not working in high temperatures at midday.
"We apologise if this causes inconvenience to residents but we can all help by having our collections ready for 6 am during the summer.”
