THE Thurrock 100 is a community walking festival taking place during July.
Whether you’re a regular walker or someone who’d like to build a little more exercise into their daily routine, you are welcome to take part.
There will be 10 new walks around Thurrock in July. Each one will cover 10 miles, taking in some of the borough’s most interesting places:
Ockendon along the Mardyke – Thursday 9 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Horndon, Orsett and Bulphan – Friday 10 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Grays to Purfleet – Saturday 11 July, 7:30am for an 8am start
Around SS17 – Sunday 12 July, 9:30am for a 10am start
Chafford Hundred and the Gorges – Monday 13 July, 11:30am for a midday start
East and West Tilbury – Tuesday 14 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Little Thurrock and around – Wednesday 15 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary – Thursday 16 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Aveley and Belhus Park – Friday 17 July, 11:30am for a midday start
Grays Town and Stifford Clays – Saturday 18 July, 9:30am for a 10am start
