Thurrock’s other medal came in the V50 steeplechase where Don Lawless picked up a bronze medal with a good for age time of 12m05.

It was good to see Steve Kemp turning out some classy performances in the V55 section. He was 7th in the 1500m, 8th in the 800m with a season’s best of 2m27. His 9th place in the 400m produced another season’s best time of 63.04s.
