USUALLY, libraries are the home of borrowing books and returning them after your finished. However, Grays Library is holding a giant book sale in August.
To help your summer reading along, you can purchase selected titles from the library – situated within Thameside complex – from Friday 7 until Tuesday 11 August with a second and final opportunity on Friday 21 until Tuesday 25 August.
While you are there you can sign up to be a member, ensuring you have access to borrow the thousands of books and other material the council has to offer.
If you live, work or study in Thurrock you can become a library member at any age.
It’s free to join and you don’t need to show any proof of who you are. If you are under 16 bring a parent or guardian along with you the first time you visit.
