A MAN is set to appear in court over threats to kill with a meat cleaver in Thurrock.
Tat Kong Kong Lay, (44) from Grays is charged with the following:
1. On 19/07/2015 at Stanford-le-Hope without lawful excuse made a threat to kill a male intending that the said male would fear that the said threat would be carried out
2. On 19/07/2015 at Corringham, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, an offensive weapon, namely a meat cleaver
