DURING the summer holidays, intu Lakeside is celebrating all things jokes, pranks and giggles as it welcomes The Beano and its main star and chief troublemaker Dennis the Menace.
From 1 August, Dennis has been taking over intu Lakeside’s Kids’ Club for four weeks of mischief, providing non-stop free activities and giveaways for the whole family. The nationwide Beano takeover is happening at intu shopping centres up and down the country, so keep your eyes peeled for whoopee cushions, water bombs and plastic spiders wherever your travels take you this summer holiday.
On 6 August fans came face to face with troublemaker Dennis the Menace at a special meet and greet session that took place across the centre. The prankster shared jokes and took pictures with guests of all ages.
Keep the kids occupied throughout the entire summer holidays as The Beano takes over intu Lakeside’s Kids’ Club. From making musical instruments and sing along sessions, to designing comic strips, the Kids’ Club is sure to keep your little ones out of mischief. However, parents beware… they’ll also have the chance to make their own whoopee cushions!
The Kids’ Club will be located in the Central Atrium from 10am to 5pm Monday – Saturday and from 11am – 5pm on Sundays.
