THURROCK Lawn Tennis Club ran a Summer School for youngsters 8-9. They had coaching and tournaments. Everyone had a lot of fun as well as learning a new sport.
The picture shows some of the students with their medals and certificates.
They have adult and junior coaching going on regularly as well as league matches and club championships.
There are two new sessions that are open to members and non- members:
Cardio tennis takes place on Thursdays for one hour starting at 7.30pm and costs £6 a session.
Ladies Social takes place on Thursdays at 10 to 11.30am and is 45 minutes coaching followed by match play with coffee/tea and biscuits. This costs £5 per session.
