THERE will be four polling stations for next month’s by election in the West Thurrock and South Stifford ward.
The election – caused by the resignation of Terry Brookes – is on Thursday, 10 September, and has three candidates, Helen Adams, UKIP; Tony Coughlin, Conservative; and Cliff Holloway, Labour.
The polling stations are at: the Mulberry Drive complex, Mulberry Drive, Purfleet; The Fleet Public House, London Road, Purfleet; Cowdray Hall, London Road, Grays; and St Clement’s Health and Community Centre, London Road, Grays.
People are advised to check their polling card if they are unsure which station they should attend.
Those who have applied for postal votes should start receiving them from 28 August.
