Final day for Horse entries to Orsett Show

IT is not long until this year’s Orsett Show on Saturday 5 September 2015 between 9.00am and 5.00pm at the Orsett Showground. There have been so many Horse entries this year that the closing date has been extended until Wednesday 26 August 2015.

Details of some of the acts on the Impulse Leisure Family Stage, which is kindly sponsored by Intu Lakeside have just been announced. There will be dancing performances by Move It Dance School, a performance of Bugsy Malone from All Star Academy, music from Sentimental Journey who will be singing a set as a memorial to the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, a Yamaguchi Goju Kai Karate demonstration, a performance from Youth Creation, music from local 19 year old Louis Sorrell Wilde who will be singing a Michael Buble tribute set and a performance from Blaze and Chafford Cheerleading.

The cast of the this year’s Pantomime at the Thameside Theatre including Jeff Brazier (Dancing on Ice and This Morning) who was very popular with the crowds last year, will also be in attendance and take to the Impulse Leisure stage before drawing the winning ticket for the Thurrock Community Chest with the Mayor of Thurrock Cllr Sue Gray where the ticket holder will win a car! (kindly donated by Tony Levoi Vauxhall).

At the Show, there will also be marquees featuring Horticulture, Agriculture, Hobbies & Handicrafts, Schools, Craft Stalls and over 150 Trade Stands. There’s an ever-changing programme of exciting displays in the Grand Display Ring and events and competitions throughout the day in the Horse Rings. There really is something for everyone. Tickets are available in advance from the website www.orsettshow.co.uk and are £10.00 each for adults, £8.00 for OAPs and children under 16 are FREE. On the gate ticket prices are £12.00 each for adults, £10.00 for OAPs and Children are FREE.
