THURROCK Council’s fostering team has two events planned over the next few weeks for people interested in becoming foster carers.
The team will be at the Orsett Show on Saturday (5 September).
And for those interested in making a difference, they will also be in the reception area of the Civic Offices in New Road, Grays, on Tuesday, 6 October and at the Thurrock Adult Community College in Richmond Road, Grays, on Tuesday, 20 October.
Foster carers receive training, advice and 24/7 support from Thurrock’s small, friendly team as well as a generous package of financial support which would be no less than £267 a week.
