A GRAYS man has been sent for trial over alleged "threats to kill" in Foxton Road, Grays last month.
Anthony Mullins (59), Foxton Road, Grays appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court.
He was charged with the following:
"On 31/08/2015 at Grays without lawful excuse made to Essex Police a threat to destroy your own property, namely 4 Foxton Road, Grays, in a way which you knew was likely to endanger the life of the said Yourself Anthony Mullins intending that Essex Police would fear that the threat would be carried out".
Mullins has pleaded not guilty.
