THURROCK Council are set to go to court over an illegal encampment in Argent Street, Grays.
Th encampment has been on Kilverts Field for close to a week.
The application states:
Complaint that persons and the vehicles in which they are residing are present on land, namely the green area just off Argent Street, Grays, Thurrock, in contravention of a direction given under section 77 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
In accordance with section 78 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
