NATIONAL Express train operator c2c is offering 3,000 advance return tickets at just £5 each, for one week only.
Anyone travelling off-peak on weekdays in the first three weeks of October can benefit from the £5 flat-rate fare, as long as they buy their ticket online by Friday.
For journeys from Southend to London, the special sale price is more than £11 cheaper than the standard off-peak daily return.
c2c Commercial Director Clare McCaffrey said: “We think this flat fare of a fiver is a great deal for customers. Our sale only lasts until Friday, so if people act now there’s a real bargain to be had.”
The special discount is available for travel Monday-Friday from 1 October to 23 October. Tickets are only available for sale until Friday 2 October, and must be bought at least three days before travel.
