Don’t miss the first Thurrock Enterprise Day

    IF you are interested in starting your own social enterprise or fancy trying something new – don’t miss the first Thurrock ‘Social Enterprise Day.

    Based at the Beehive in Grays High Street and taking place next Thursday (8 October) the day is a chance to listen, question and network among successful local social entrepreneurs.

    The event opens at 10am and runs until 1pm.

    Advice from professionals will be on offer during the session as well as demonstrations and explanations about how to access community-based grants for social enterprises.

    Portfolio holder for regeneration, Cllr Richard Speight said: “This is another great opportunity for social investment in Thurrock.

    “If you have ever had a business idea – now is the time to do something about it.

    “Come along, share your idea and learn how Thurrock can help you get it off the ground.”
