ORSETT Hall is very proud to announce that our Head Chef Robert Pearce was crowned Top Chef at the Essex Life Fine Food & Drink Awards last night. This is a great achievement for Rob who in 2013 was awarded the title Chef of the Year at the Essex Hospitality & Tourism Awards – not many Chefs have won both awards and Rob is only 28 years old.
When asked how Rob felt after receiving his coveted award last night, he said:
“It is an amazing feeling. I have a good team around me here and we all work very hard creating innovative dishes using new techniques, whilst striving for the highest quality but keeping things simple and using fine quality ingredients.”
