ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Daisyfields Park, St Chads Road, Tilbury, on October 11.
A 26-year-old man visiting relatives in the area was walking in the park during the early hours of October 11 when he was attacked from behind by a group of around six men.
He was punched and kicked to the ground before having his mobile phone and cash stolen.
The men are described as white and were already in the park when the man entered around midnight.
