GET snappy and join in Grays Library’s free story and activity morning for children aged four-plus and based on Nicola O’Byrne’s Booktime book Open Very Carefully, A Book With Bite.
As well as a story time on Snapaway Saturday – Saturday, 31 October from 10am to noon – Mr Crocodile himself will be there and visitors will be able to do activity sheets, get involved in craft activities and take part in a scavenger hunt.
Why not come dressed up in your Halloween costumes and see if you can scare Mr Crocodile?
Reception children are already receiving the book itself in school as part of the Booktime national free books programme delivered locally through Thurrock Council’s libraries.
The Booktime programme is provided by independent charity Book Trust and offers a free book pack for children to share and enjoy with their family and friends.
