TICKETS are selling fast for the annual spectacular Rotary Christmas Concert which takes place at the Thurrock Civic Hall, Blackshots Lane on Friday the 18th of December.
The show, now in it seventh year – has been a complete sell-out. It brings together choirs, bands and a wealth of local talent – and profits from the show go straight to charity.
“ We love the idea of featuring home-grown talent,” said Rotarian Ray Smallcombe. “But another key element is getting the audiences to join in the singing, accompanied by the Mosaic Choir and the Becontree Band.”
The show will be headlined by the highly rated professional percussionist Shaun Bajnoczky.- a former Thurrock-based Young Musician of the Year – and also features the Belmont Academy Junior School choir and are two impressive local female vocalists Fleur Sumption and Abbie Ward.
Tickets are available from the Thameside box Office (telephone 0845-300-5264)
