CREATIVE Blast and Thurrock’s local community brought Alice’s Wonderland to life in the magazines at Coalhouse Fort in the run up to Christmas.
Children and parents followed the White Rabbit and Alice in their search for Santa through the magical world where they met The Mad Hatter, The Caterpillar, The Three of Spades and the horrible Queen of Hearts.
All children and adults had a chance to discuss the fun over a free cup of tea and mince pie at the end of their tours which took place on Saturday and Sunday, 12 and 13 December.
Children were also able to visit Santa in his secret grotto at the end of their tour and received a gift.
The Friends of Langdon Hills also joined in the fun, providing the children with Log Faces and willow weaving entertainment.
The event was funded by the Heritage Lottery Funded and organised by Thurrock Council’s Coalhouse Fort team.
