C2C commuters continue to be angry over new timetable

C2C commuters continue to express their extreme dis-satisfaction at the new timetable that came on-line just before Christmas.

There was a torrent of discontent before Christmas. C2C agreed to amendments to the timetable.

There has been a lull in hostilities during the festive period and even on Monday when commuters seemed to be adjusting to getting back to work after the Christmas holidays.

But on Tuesday morning (Jan 5th) the commuters have made it very clear that they are still very unhappy with the timetable and have gone on social media to express their dis-satisfaction.

GLT82 said: " It was pretty much standing room only today frm Tilbury, so by time we got to Rainham was like a cattle truck again".

ATBQ37 posted a short film that depicts a crowded carriage this morning.

C2C customers asked: "So @c2c_Rail you said it would need time to bed in. It’s now worse than ever and you are worst line in the country. When will you revert?"

JavelinSam said: "Just make one simple adjustment… The old timetable. Simples."

GLT82 said: "It’s like Japan’s trains at Barking now. Staff & customers pushing people onto trains".

Adrian Leatherbarrow said: "The timetable is fine, the c2c needs more than 4 carriages and not to stop at Barking."
