ON March 4th Thurrock’ s local communities will join Stronger Together Thurrock in Clean for the Queen, a nationwide campaign to clean the streets of the UK to honor The Queen’s 90th Birthday celebrations on April 21st.
The event will take place across Thurrock with many businesses, local community hubs and volunteers of all ages and backgrounds getting involved.
The three day event will involve volunteers who are encouraged to donate any amount of their time over the three days to take to their local streets with bin bags in hand to clean any area of their choosing; anything from cans left on street corners to leaves left in parks. Just tell Thurrock Council where you will be leaving the bags and they will collect.
Stronger Together Thurrock will be co-ordinating the campaign in Thurrock; registration information is currently available on the Stronger Together Thurrock website until Sunday 28th February or email firstname.lastname@example.org
