A COUNCIL tax rise for Thurrock residents of just under 4% was pushed through by Thurrock councillors last night (Wednesday).
The increase means a weekly increase of around 77p per household. Those in a band D property will see a rise of Â£44.87 a year. Bands A-C, will see a rise from Â£29.91 to Â£39.88.
Council leader, cllr John Kent delivered the proposals for the budget.
