Author visits Tudor Court to promote World Book Day

AUTHOR, Emma McNally visited Tudor Court primary in Chafford Hundred as part of World Book Day.

Emma made a twenty minute film of her visit.

Emma said: "Welcome to my Virtual Author Visit for all children across the globe to join in with the fun on World Book Day (3 March 2016).

"The video is perfect for schools; Reception and Year 1 in particular, as well as children at home to take part. We are aiming to reach as many children aged 3 – 6 years as possible and to encourage them to develop a love of reading, so please share the link.

"You can join in with the verse and actions as you listen to my new book; ‘The Cloudosaurus Rex’ for the first time on World Book Day. It helps children learn the days of the week, about other people’s feelings, the weather… and of course about dinosaurs. ‘The Cloudosaurus Rex’ is available to buy via Amazon (http://amzn.to/1LNs13B) or at bookshops.

A free activity sheet to support the book can be found at www.haroldhuxley.co.uk.

Have fun and happy World Book Day everyone!
