THURROCK Council’s libraries are supporting the national Reading Well Books on Prescription scheme – with information books to help people improve their mental health and well-being.
Relaxing with a book is a great way to wind down.
Grays library in the Thameside complex, Orsett Road, offers space for groups to meet and you can choose from Knit & Natter, book groups, and the Code Club.
But now there’s a new group – Colour me Calm.
In the last year, colouring-in books have been really popular– not just for children, but for adults too.
Waterstones at Lakeside is kindly supporting Grays Library’s new Colour Me Calm group with some exciting colouring-in books.
Come along, chill, and relax between 11 am and noon on Tuesday, 5 April, and boost your general health and well-being with some gentle activity.
