ESSEX Firefighters tackled a fire which broke out in the living room of a bungalow in Laird Avenue in Grays.
On arrival the incident commander reported that the bungalow was 20% alight and completely smoke logged.
Wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets crews had extinguished the fire by 07:24hrs.
A woman is unable to return to her home as a result of this fire.
