TWO MEPS that represent Thurrock are in Brussels this morning which has been the centre of a terrorist attack.
UKUP’s Tim Aker and Labour’s Richard Howitt have both gone onto social media to report that they re safe.
Mr Howitt tweeted: “There’s been second Brussels bomb exploded at Maelbaek Metro station which I used 30 mins ago. I’m safe. Parliament rightly proceeds as normal.”
Mr Aker said: "Am safe in Brussels. Horrified by events. Thoughts and prayers to everyone. Stay safe".
