THURROCK CVS are now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Voluntary Sector Community Development fund; aiming to support local groups and community organisations and projects which benefit the Thurrock area.
The fund will be administrated by Thurrock CVS on behalf of Thurrock Council. Projects need to reflect one of Thurrock Council’s priorities and funding will support successful applicants for one year.
Formal non-statutory or non-profit organisations are eligible to apply. You will need to be able to clearly demonstrate your organisations ability to deliver benefit to the community within the 2016-2017 funding period.
Organisations that have failed to conform to the conditions of Grant Awards in previous years, or Organisations that have uncommitted/unrestricted funds that could be used to fund the activity (Reserves) will not be eligible to apply.
Grants are available from £500 to £5,000 for revenue or small capital purchases up to £1,000.
Applications will be accepted until midnight on the 7th May 2016. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
