THE ANNUAL Stifford Clays fun run was marred as two of the lead runners were attacked.
Everything was going well as the two lead runners were heading down Long Lane until an unknown assailant jumped out and robbed them of all their clothes.
The brave runners were not put off and as you can see from our photo and finished the race close to Blackshots Lane.
An eye witness said: "It all happened so quickly but perhaps the thirteen burly men in the support vehicle may know what happened."
