THERE were celebrations on Thursday (March 31st) as a post office service was re-stored to Bulphan.
Former sub-postmaster Denis Fewtrell returned to the village to perform the official opening ceremony.
After saying a few words and exhorting residents to "Use it or lose it", Denis cut the ribbon to cheers and applause.
The Post Office is open from 1.30 – 4.30 every Thursday and Friday in Bulphan Village Hall and the service is provided by Bala from Grays Shopping Centre Post Office.
