A MUSIC festival starring Boy George has been postponed until later on in the year.
The two day Soundon Festival had been set for the weekend of April 30th and May 1st in the grounds of the Essex Sports Village on Purfleet Road, Aveley.
But organisers have announced on their website that the date for the two day celebration of house music has been changed to August 13th and 14th.
A spokesperson for Thurrock Council said: "At a recent Safety Advisory Group meeting, it was agreed by the event organisers that the event would be postponed to address some issues that had arisen.
