9th July 2016 sees the start of the fifth annual Thurrock Art Trail: a celebration of visual arts spread over a wide range of venues all over the borough.
It runs over two weeks until 24th July and it showcases the creativity of both professional and amateur artists in Thurrock working in any visual medium: painters, sculptors, photographers, textile artists, potters, ceramicists, film and video makers, woodworkers, creators of assemblage and mixed media.
Thurrock Art Trail 2016 needs them all. If you want to take part as an exhibiting artist, as part of a group or if you’d like to offer your shop, church, hall, pub, cafe or garden centre as an exhibition gallery space, please email us at info@thurrockarttrail.org.uk to tell us before Sunday 8th May. That’s the date for the next planning meeting, which will be held in The Swan Gallery above The Swan, Horndon on the Hill at 3.30pm.
