ONE of the tunnels at the Dartford Crossing will be closed for five nights next week.
The western tunnel or bore, travelling from Kent into Essex on the M25 will be closed on four nights.
The eastern tunnel will be closed on the fifth night.
There should be one tunnel open to allow traffic to pass through but delays are likely.
The closures are to allow Highways England engineers the chance to carry out essential roadworks.
The proposed closures are on the following dates and between the following times:
Tuesday 3 May – 8.30pm to 5.30am
Wednesday 4 May – 8.30pm to 5.30am
Thursday 5 May – 8.30pm to 5.30am
Friday 6 May – 9pm to 5.30am
Saturday 7 May – 8.30pm to 5.30am
