THURROCK residents, Gregg Morrish, Will Ayling, Simon Stannard and Tony Pritchard walked 117 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne over 6 days and raised over £2,600 in aid of Fibromyalgia Action UK.
It was a fourth annual charity walking challenge for the group of friends, who really enjoyed it despite sore legs and feet. Gregg said: ‘’It was quite challenging to do the distance over 6 days and we might do it over 7 days next year. It was really worthwhile despite the aches and pains’’.
The group raised funds for Fibromyalgia Action UK because their friend, Hayley Graham suffers from this incurable widespread pain condition.
