THE endurance squad had a relatively quiet weekend but they returned to the borough with 2 county medals.
The Witham ‘5’ attracted well over 500 entrants among them 4 Harriers. Toni Noble, a new FV45, and a regular winner of medals over the past few years, won her first county gold medal for this age group.. She finished 101st with a time of 34m48s.
The other medallist was Mick Bumstead who took the silver in the MV60 category. He was a remarkable 66th in the race with a time of 32m20s.
Jodie Farrell was 129th in 36m11s and just behind was V60 Bernie Johnson 36m20s.
Parkrun times this week; Sarab Dhillon 19m26s, Toby Draper 19m27s, Jamie Mack 19m26s, Mason Hambleton 20m35s, Sarah Blockley 21m13s (U13). Sarah’s time was the fastest female of the day at the Basildon event.
