ESSEX Police were called to an address in Dudley Close in Chafford Hundred shortly after 5pm on Saturday May 7 following reports that ambulance paramedics had found a woman dead at the location.
Officers attended and following initial investigation the death was treated as suspicious and a 36-year-old man was arrested. The deceased is believed to be a woman in her early 40s from Chafford Hundred.
A post-mortem was carried out on Sunday, May 8 and has ruled out any third party involvement in the death.
We are no longer treating it as suspicious and the man who was arrested has been released without charge.
Police will now be preparing a file for the coroner.
