CORRINGHAM Primary School has been selected to be involved in the Primary Education Parliamentary Review 2015/2016. The school is one of only 12 schools in the country to be selected to showcase best practice.
Corringham Primary has been identified for its rapid rates of improvement where results have improved at least four times faster than national rates of progress. The focus of the report is to demonstrate how determined leadership and innovative thinking can improve outcomes and turn a school around.
Corringham Primary will be appearing alongside senior Cabinet Ministers in the publication, including The Rt Honourable George Osborne. The Senior Leadership team had the opportunity to have discussions with the Rt Honourable David Curry whilst producing the report, enabling them to delve deeper into their success.
Mrs Lorna Hamilton said, “It was a privilege to be selected for this review and this recognition shows how this school has and is improving. I know that there is still more to do but with the team and their continued commitment to our children, I have every faith that this school will go from strength to strength.”
The report will be published October 2016 and will be sent to all Primary Schools in England, MPs and Regional Schools Commissioners.
