LONDON Road, Purfleet, will be closed to traffic over the bank holiday weekend for work to upgrade the railway crossing there.
The closure will affect around 50 metres of road around the Railway Cottages and will begin on Sunday, 29 May at 1.50 in the early morning and remain in place for approximately 49 hours, reopening at around 2.50am on the Tuesday (31 May).
Traffic will be diverted via London Road, Tank Hill Road, the A1306 Arterial Road, and the A1090, Purfleet by-pass.
