THERE IS a great street party in South Ockendon to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
The party will be held at the Ockendon Hub (previously Belhus Library)
It will be from 2.30pm to 6.30pm for the community of South Ockendon.
Many organisations and volunteers are giving up their time to entertain.
The event is free but tickets must be collected from the Centre.
Thurrock Marching Brass will open the event. Hi Voltage orchestra, Tip Toes Stage Academy, SOCF Street Danncerz, Irish Dancing, Destiny Chapel Choir and many more will entertain during the afternoon.
Barb-b-q, Refreshments such as teas and coffees.
Visitors to the event should bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of fun and entertainment.
