A 42-year-old woman, accused of urinating on a war memorial, has been remanded in custody.
Kelly Martin, of no fixed address, denied outraging public decency when she appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court earlier.
She was charged after photos were posted on social media appearing to show an individual urinating against a war memorial in Grays.
A provisional trial date has been set for 16 August.
She will next appear via video link from a jail in Peterborough on 6 July.
