AN EID party was held in Grays at the weekend to celebrate the end of the fast of Ramadan.
Thurrock Labour Party’s Ethnic Minorities Officer Qaisar Abbas hosted the party at the Mengal Meze restaurant in Grays.
Among the guests were Imam Mohammad Siraj ul Islam (Grays Mosque), Mr Gurdip Singh Dhillon (President Grays Gurdawara), Mr Riaz Khan (Add. Secretary General PPP UK), a number of local Labour councillors and people from different communities and religions attended
One minute’s silence was also observed to pay tribute to Great Philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi Sahib who died on 8 July
