WHILST the new Tory regime at Thurrock Council pledging hundreds of thousands to be spent fighting the plague of litter and fly-tipping in Thurrock, a Chafford Hundred residents has made a number of please for litter problems to be dealt with outside his home.

Gavin Beyer, of Swiftsure Road, told YT that he has contacted Thurrock Council on a number of occasions to complain about domestic waste outside his house.

YT attended in Swiftsure Road and saw (as pictured) a large amount of fly-tipping in the street.

Mr Beyer said: "I have contacted Thurrock Council on a number of occasions in order to highlight the problem of littering and what I describe as fly-tipping outside my house.

"I don’t seem to be getting anywhere. I have contacted my local councillor (Sue McPherson) and she is trying and I have been tweeting to the MP (Jackie Doyle-Price).

"I just want this problem sorted."

YT has contacted Thurrock Council and is awaiting a reply.
